Earle Kirton - another All Blacks legend

Another in the All Blacks Legends series on allbacks.com involved first five-eighths Earle Kirton. He further developed the point made by Murray Mexted in the first of the series about learning the lesson of running lines. He also talked about the harrowing start to his All Blacks career at Newport in 1963, and the issues he faced during the 1963-64 before his return as a crucial performer under coach Fred Allen in 1967.
